ApartHotel Riga – Self-Check-in & Online Registration offers remote guest registration and security deposit pre-authorization in cooperation with our partner ChargeAutomation, as well as property access via door codes without a physical reception desk.
Online registration and security deposit pre-authorization are required before access codes can be issued. During the registration process, guests are required to upload a valid identity document photo (passport, ID card or driving licence).
Access codes are sent on the arrival day after the registration process has been completed. Remote guest support is available daily from 09:00 to 22:00.
The property offers different categories of rooms and apartments, including private studio apartments with kitchen and bathroom, economy rooms with private facilities, economy rooms with shared bathroom and shared kitchen, as well as themed apartments for couples.
All accommodation units include free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, bed linen and towels. Private parking is available for an additional fee.
Check-in is available for guests aged 22 and above. Guests under the age of 22 may stay only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

## Arrival and Online Check-in
Please read the arrival information carefully before booking. By making a reservation, guests confirm that they have read and accepted the property rules and arrival procedure.
ApartHotel Riga is a **self-check-in property with no physical reception desk**. Mandatory online registration is completed through our partner **ChargeAutomation**. To receive access codes, guests must provide a valid identity document and complete a **EUR 50 security deposit pre-authorization for each room booked**. The amount is not charged but temporarily reserved on the guests bank card. The pre-authorization is released **within 3 days after check-out**; depending on the guests bank, it may take up to **14 days** for the funds to become available again. The deposit may be used to cover damages, additional cleaning or costs resulting from violations of the property rules.
Access codes are sent on the arrival day and activated from the arrival time indicated during online registration.

## Age Policy
The minimum check-in age is **22 years**. Guests under 22 may stay only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
## Rooms and Building
Guests **select their specific room when booking**. The room location, floor and window orientation are shown in the booking information and photos.
The property has **no elevator and no air conditioning**. Economy rooms are located along shared corridors, so noise from neighbouring rooms and common areas may be more noticeable. Depending on the selected room, street and city noise may also be heard.
## Parking, Pets and Bicycles
Private parking **for passenger cars only** is available for **EUR 10 per night**, subject to availability. Parking and other additional services can be purchased during online registration.
**Pets are not allowed. Bicycles and scooters may not be broughtor stored in guest rooms.** Bicycle storage in the basement is available for an additional fee and subject to availability. Access to the bicycle storage area is possible only when staff are present.
## Smoking and Fire Safety
Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. A **EUR 100 fee** applies for smoking inside the property.
The property has a centralized fire alarm system. **Touching, covering, disconnecting or damaging smoke detectors, alarm transmitters or other fire-safety equipment is registered by the system and triggers an alert.**
When cooking, guests must use the extractor hood, open a window when necessary and supervise cooking attimes. Excessive steam from showers may also activate the fire alarm, so adequate ventilation must be ensured.
If a guests actions cause a fire alarm, emergency service call-out or require an additional staff visit, the guest may be charged for the resulting costs.
## Other Rules and Video Surveillance
**Parties and events are not allowed. Only registered guests may stay at the property.**
For security purposes, **video surveillance is in operation in common areas, entrance areas and the courtyard**.
